The theme for week 1 is to write a post introducing yourself to the class.  Your post needs to include the following items

• something about who you are and why you want to take this course
• something about what you understand by the words “sustainability” and “resilience”

Please also include

• a photograph – of you if you are comfortable sharing that, otherwise of anything relevant – but it needs to appear as part of your post (“added media”)
• a hyperlink – some clickable text which connects to another item that you find interesting or that helps explain your ideas.
• if possible and appropriate, also include some mathematical text using the MathJax system.

You also need to comment on a post written by someone else.   The initial blog posts should be completed by the end of Friday, first week of class.
