The Design for Emerging Markets (DEM) project teaches students how to innovate solutions for real world problems. The task was to design a plan, within a small group, to reduce food insecurity in a certain country.

The group was assigned to Timor Leste, an island at the southern end of Maritime Southeast Asisa, north of Timor Sea.

First, the group chose the most relevant idea for their country. Then the group designed multiple prototypes to get a visual aid for their solutions. After the designing process, the group reviewed and refined their solutions before presenting the final solution to the class.
