Title: Discovering How to Model, Simulate, and Test Batteries for Electric Vehicles

Abstract: Electric vehicles (EVs) were invented in 1828 and have since been improved to be larger and more advanced. One of the key components of an EV is the battery. As time presses on, the demand for EV batteries has greatly increased to stay consistent with the demand for the vehicles they power. In turn, the demand for researching EV batteries has increased; there is always a place for others to join the research. The project to be performed will be a gateway into the inner workings of an EV battery, specifically a lithium-ion battery. Through the use of MatLab and Arbin, the introduction of modeling, simulating, and testing EV batteries will be accomplished.
