Project Abstract

Many of the first successful road energy harvesting systems have been developed using piezoelectric or other harvesting technology. The problems within road energy harvesting stem from factors such as exaggerated calculations relating to energy gathering. The approach to my research is a literature review that focuses on the methods of energy harvesting and how they can gather energy from everyday objects such as cars and people. This paper is meant to better discuss the different types of road energy harvesting.
