- What was the most helpful feedback you received in the peer review workshops?
A helpful piece feedback I received from the peer review workshops was to clean up some of my transitions and refrain from making any hasty generalizations in order to wrap up my paragraphs.
- What were the most interesting discoveries you made as you researched your topic?
I knew a lot about my topic already, but I learned a lot about how each event that occurred in history lead to or influenced another. I never really realized just how connected some of these events were.
- What is the significance of the paradigm shift you explored? In other words, what do you feel is most important point for your reader to take away from your paper?
The shift in views of LGBT+ people in America is significant because it is still occurring today and LGBT+ people are directly affected by how we go about it in the future. I think the most important point for my reader to take away from my paper would be that there is still so much room for improvement in terms of rights and discrimination, despite all of the advancements that have been made in the past few decades.
- How has this project helped you develop as a writer?
This project has helped me develop as a reader because I think I was able to really build upon my researching skills and how to find to evidence to back my point.
