  3. $1000 (2019) Sustainability Grant from the College of Nursing for the project, titled “Creating a Caring Environment for the Penn State Scranton Campus.”
  4. $27,000 (2018-2021) from Moffat Foundation to hold children’s health fair at Penn State Scranton for the next three years.
  5. Swivel Lecture Capture (2018). Received an Ipad and Swivel device and stand from Penn State Scranton to record health assessment demonstrations to enhance student learning.
  6. $3000 (2018-2019). Research Development Grant from Penn State Scranton to explore Community Members’ Knowledge Regarding Palliative Care Before and After a Teaching Intervention.
  7. $2800 (2017-2018). Research Development Grant from Penn State Worthington Scranton to explore Somatic Awareness and Symptom Recognition in Informal Caregivers of Patients Living with Advanced Heart Failure.
  8. $250,000 (2016-2017). Penrod, J. L. (PI), Hill, N. (Co-I), Evans, M. (Co-I). Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award. Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to establish coalitions of community based research nurses throughout the state.
