We’re glad you’re here!
In the fall of 2014, four campus ministries, from four different church denominational backgrounds, began to collaboratively work at projects at Penn State. Alicia Anderson from Lutheran Campus Ministry and Diana Malcom from Presbyterian Student Fellowship (formerly Westminster Presbyterian Fellowship) had been working together at Penn State on various projects for several years, and as the school year began that fall they reached out to Jen Gruendler from Wesley PSU and Ben Wideman from 3rd Way Collective who were both new to the Penn State community.
In the fall of 2018 Diana moved on and Allison Maus was added to the group as the new WPF campus minister.
In the fall of 2019, Jen moved on and Sarah Coker Voigt was added to the group as the new Wesley PSU campus minister.
Working together has allowed all four groups to strengthen their capacity to offer events and activities to a wider student body, as well as offering a multi-denominational example of working together. They have provided on campus events and activities, as well as offering off campus service and learning trips beyond the State College area.
Through doing ministry together, we are able to provide a network that is broader and stronger than any of us could provide on our own.
