In a society that tends to fixate on physical appearance and well-being, we often put aside the well-being pertaining to our inner self. It is unfortunate to think that we oftentimes forget that our emotional, social, and psychological well-being is the root of our overall physical health as well. Mental health is a topic that we as humans should prioritize, especially amongst the craziness and fast-paced world that we live in today. Good mental health is needed at all ages, however, it is not to say that none of us go through mental health problems.
Though the severity of mental health problems across the board range, we are all human, therefore we can all relate to an extent of not feeling at our 100% best selves. Whether that be emotionally, socially, or psychologically… AND THAT’S OKAY! Though we may go through our ups and downs, we are truly never alone. Below, I have compiled a list of 3 products that I have been told firsthand that has aided in bettering one’s overall mental health. Not to say that these items will completely heal or “fix” you of what you may be experiencing, but who’s to say that these won’t help your journey along the way.

I have struggled a lot with anxiety since a young age and it really effects my ability to fall asleep. I have tried many things such as melatonin and have even participated in a sleep study a few years ago but nothing really helps. The section you added about the weighted blanket caught my attention. I am definitely going to research more about the advantages of a weighted blanket and how it can improve sleep quality!

I really liked how you gave multiple options to help improve one’s mental health. I think even if some people have not been diagnosed with any mental health problems any of these three items may be able to just relieve everyday stress. I think it would have been interesting if you compared different motivation quotes apps or the different weights of the blankets. I would be interested to see which you prefer if you use any of these items.

I think that these products are really great tools for helping to deal with stress and anxiety. Having dealt with those problems myself to some degree at different points throughout my life, I think that the two most important factors for my mental health personally are rest and reflection, as they help to relieve stress and ensure that I am able to better understand any problems that I am facing and how I might be able to come to solutions.

This list of three products is well compiled. It explains their benefits very well as well. The motivational quotes is a great tool for boosting morale and trying to alleviate our minds of negativity. I particularly love the Rupi Kaur line you used in your featuring image. Her words are so soothing and comforting and a good reminder that we are only human! Also, I have a weighted blanket myself and it works wonders; it feels like a hug and provides comfort. I have a hard time with physical touch because I am somewhat emotionally constipated (lol) so the blanket helps me not feel touch deprived.
