Intern and Entrepreneurial Experience

As a valued member of an athletic marketing company catering to nine youth sports and serving over 3.2 million athletes, my primary responsibility was to develop engaging and impactful content for various platforms. This included crafting compelling social media posts and designing eye-catching graphics, flyers, and videos using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Suite.

Working closely with my colleagues and coaches, I collaborated on marketing campaigns to promote specific sports and teams. These efforts involved designing visually appealing email campaigns to reach our target audience effectively.

In addition to content creation, I also played a role in documenting sporting events through photography and videography. I organized and managed this media on platforms like Flickr, ensuring easy access for future content development and use.

Furthermore, I contributed to the creation and maintenance of team websites by transferring relevant information from previous sources to updated software, ensuring a seamless transition and enhancing the online presence of the teams.

Overall, my multifaceted role contributed to the company’s success by effectively engaging and expanding our audience, while also supporting the marketing efforts of various youth sports and their respective teams.

As a proactive and entrepreneurial individual, I took on the exciting responsibility of launching a clothing product line from the ground up. This involved meticulously planning and executing every step of the process. I began by conducting thorough market research, identifying trends, and understanding customer preferences to create a strategic marketing plan.

To bring my vision to life, I managed the purchasing of printing equipment and high-quality materials necessary for producing custom-made merchandise at an affordable cost. This involved finding the right suppliers and negotiating favorable deals to ensure the best value for the business.

Drawing upon my creative skills in Photoshop, I conceptualized and designed an appealing range of merchandise, including t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, and tote bags. These designs were carefully crafted to resonate with the target audience and cater to various fashion tastes.
