About this blog

I have been fortunate enough to travel all around the world in my life. Because of my dad’s job, he has to travel to all different countries for business conferences. That, plus family vacations, has brought me to over a dozen different countries in five different continents. A few places I’ve visited include South Africa, Australia, Thailand, and France. Now I’ve spent quite a number of hours on airplanes, and yes, it gets uncomfortable. But it is worth it to step off of the plane into a world so different than the one I live in. Of course the difference isn’t as big if you’re traveling domestically or somewhere the culture is similar to ours, but nonetheless, no two places are the same. And I think it’s really important for people to know, understand, and appreciate the diversity of this world.

Every week I’ll talk about a different place that I’ve been and what I did while I was there. My dad always told me to remember as much as I possibly could during each trip so that I could appreciate everything and tell others about it. Because of that, I have a lot to talk about. I’ll talk about the culture, the people, the history, the food, and any other significant difference I can think of. I might even throw in a few pictures of my trip if I can find any good ones.

After a while I’ll probably start looking forward and talk about some of the places I’ve always dreamt of going and things I’ve always wanted to do and see. I know I’ve been to more places than most kids can say, but I love traveling and don’t plan on stopping. I’ve seen some beautiful things during my travels, but there is so much more still out there I may not even know about. It doesn’t matter how much you’ve seen, there is always more to experience.
