A Greater Penn State seeks to fulfill the three key imperatives of a 21st century public university:Keeping the doors to higher education open to hardworking students regardless of financial well-being; Creating transformative experiences that go beyond the classroom; and Impacting the world by fueling discovery, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Penn State’s six-year campaign began in July 2016 and will conclude in June 2022. As of December 2019, 58% of the goal had been met. In that same timeframe, Mont Alto achieved 68% of its campaign goal of $5.2 million, raising $3,531,253.
