The Ozark Mountains are located in Missouri, just outside of Arkansas. The elevation of the location is over 1,200 feet. The Ozark Mountains represent a dissected plateau, because it is an eroded area that is mountainous and has different slope types. The drainage pattern is dendritic, because the patterns look like tree branches that keep branching out.
