Welcome to my webpage! I am a seventh-year graduate student in the Astronomy and Astrophysics department at Penn State. I work with Dr. Jane Charlton on tidal tails in interacting galaxies, and variability of narrow absorption lines in quasars.

I grew up near Seattle, WA, and graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in both astronomy and physics in 2009. After graduation, I worked at the LIGO Hanford Observatory for four years as an Operations Specialist and Laser Safety Officer. In the fall of 2013 I enrolled in the Astronomy and Astrophysics PhD program at Penn State.
