As an artist, I have strived to achieve the best work I can make in as many projects I am a part of. I am currently a brand designer who creates packages and content for organizations, streamers, and content creators on Twitter, YouTube, and other social platforms. I currently am signed to TwistedSin Esports as a player for their Rainbow Six roster, but I am also the lead designer for their design team (Of course right now, I am working for free).
Above are some works I have made for the organization. I have so much fun working with the owner and management. We talk frequently about possible design choices and how we really want to express our organization and mentality through our art. The main point that should be emphasized when it comes to design is how you want to express or portray a person, organization, or event. For TwistedSin, we want to portray a dark mood, using the green to give a twisted and toxic feeling. The green is somewhat bright so while it is still dark, it still can give a welcoming feeling. You can see this in the gameday graphic. All the elements show a dark tone with the character, both the pose and the color choice, showing a more menacing yet inviting tone. For our jerseys, we wanted to create a sharp yet minimalistic look. We also wanted to give a traditional vibe to it as well. To do that we put our secondary logo (the blades) on the shoulders while we added topographic lines onto the sleeves and chest of the jersey to achieve a sense of traditionalism. Because TwistedSin is proud of its past and tradition, I thought of Chinese traditional clothing. That is why you see the front side looking like it is being wrapped around itself.
Right now I am interested in esports, both in the gaming aspect and the design aspect. The idea of compositions excites me, whether it be the in-game UI, within stream packages for esports organizations, or twitter posts from said organizations containing art (Check out my portfolio here). Some projects as of late that I have been involved in are creating stream packages for streamers and content creators as well as rebranding TwistedSin Esports. I have redone their logo and other important assets in terms of art.
For TwistedSin, I created a curving brush stroke to simulate a sort of trail. Since the main term is twisted (I wanted something that curved and was unpredictable in a sense). In art, brushes are somewhat unpredictable in the sense that, you let your arm move on its own and let your brain flow creating a sort of organized chaos. This theme of organized chaos is the centerpiece of my design for the organization. For streamers, I have not only rebranded their logo, but I have created new alerts for their notifications, new panels for them to share information, and overlays to make their stream more interactive. I want to be as good as other popular designers such as SesoHQ, EdwardDZN, or HonGFX. Practice and experience are key in achieving this goal.

The most important part of a design to me is positive and negative space and how each element interacts with the other. This is important to me because space can affect how interesting or cluttered a design is. Good design is one that can balance the amount of information shown while also taking space on the composition that the human eye is drawn to (rule of thirds). Beauty in a composition is something that takes time and cannot be rushed. My art looks to prove that, granted it takes me longer because of classes and other activities I partake in. The meaningful experiences I had within the design process is the interaction between consumer and producer (me and my clients). Their response to the designs I make gives a sense of gratitude for allowing me to work with them as well as relief that they enjoy the design. As an artist nothing is constant; people can change their minds whenever they want. This could be through design choices or canceling the order altogether. So when I get clients who enjoy the design process with me, I am grateful and relieved through the experience. I hope to continue and improve in style and composition. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through this challenging semester as well as everyone who has supported me through my art as well!
