This Design Showcase features design projects from engineering students at Penn State Brandywine and Abington Campuses.
• Cornerstone Engineering Design:   These first-year engineering student teams from Penn State Brandywine were tasked with their choice of designing an improved medical faceshield, a game controller that can be operated with a single hand, or a clean water system for impoverished areas using recycled materials.
• First-Year Engineering Seminar:  These first-year engineering student teams were tasked with designing a Geneva mechanism to be fabricated using 3D printing. They had the option of automating their motion.
• Senior Capstone Projects:  The seniors presented their year-long capstone projects sponsored by industry partners.
• Senior Independent Study:  This thesis research is presented to fulfill graduation requirements as a Schreyer Honors Scholar.
• The MDE Program:  Offered through the Penn State Brandywine and Abington Campuses.  The engineering courses for the final two years of this program are completed in the Innovation Center at the Great Valley Campus.

• All student teams will be available on April 22, 2021, 6:00 – 7:00 PM
• Scroll through the design posters shown on each page accessible with the menus at right.
• Use the provided Zoom links to enter a room with the engineering students that completed the design.
• Please ask questions of the engineering students and ask them to show you their prototypes.
• Be sure to unmute your microphone when you want to speak.
• Our students have worked hard and are proud of their designs. Asking questions helps them to share their vision.
• Please visit as many Zoom rooms as you can. Be sure to “Leave” one Zoom before you join another.
