About the PI: Dr. Wang is a tenured Associate professor in the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS) at the Penn State College of Medicine (https://med.psu.edu/phs). Before joining the Penn State College of Medicine in 2013, Dr. Wang received Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics from Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Emory University, and a bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics from Peking University in China. She was Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) KL2 scholar from 1/1/2015 to 12/31/2017. She has been working closely with Cancer Institute, the Center for the Protection of Children, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Division of Nephrology and other departments/institutes across Penn State College of Medicine. Her expertise reply on longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, spatial statistics, high-dimensional data analysis and other (bio)statistical aspects related to biomedical and human health research.
