PAS8: A K-Pop Legend.

The blogging is coming to an end (⋟﹏⋞)

I hope you all have been enjoying my blogging so far! It’s been an honor sharing these stories with you guys ٩(^◡^)۶ The reason why I chose to talk about these is that I feel like we all can be inspired by the struggles and hardships faced by K-pop idols. I hope by reading some of the stories I shared, all of you will be more motivated in going after what you wanted in life 。^‿^。

For my last post today, I’m going to talk about one of the legends in the K-pop industry: G-Dragon.

K-Pop legend G-Dragon of BIGBANG has inspired many young K-Pop musicians to follow their aspirations. G-Dragon had an unpleasant experience while being a trainee at YG Entertainment. He had to deal with a lot because he worked for such a big corporation, in addition to the bad things that people on the internet would say about him. His company’s CEO was so tough on him. The CEO never compliments him for all his hard work, and that made him doubt himself. As a trainee, G-Dragon was also fairly private, constantly keeping his concerns to himself. He would never display his feelings to others since he didn’t want others to talk negatively about him. He also concealed his emotions because he wanted to come across as a powerful individual. G-Dragon was inspired to work even harder in order to disprove the naysayers as a result of all these difficulties.

G-Dragon’s hardships don’t end after his debut with his group, BIGBANG. BIGBANG received a lot of criticism online for their perceived “ugliness.” Although this would bother many companies, YG Entertainment chose to make no changes to BIGBANG. Yang Hyun Suk, their CEO, would always urge the group to follow their dreams and not alter who they were for other people. By eventually becoming one of the most successful groups in K-Pop history, BIGBANG proved their haters wrong. Even G-Dragon has received praise from many for his contributions to K-Pop.

G-Dragon just wants to take this time to appreciate his job. He recognizes when it’s time to depart when he can no longer enjoy making music. G-Dragon believes that when that day comes, he won’t look back.
