Students For Life

The Students for Life Club at Penn State aims to recruit, train, and mobilize the pro-life generation to abolish abortion.  We exist on campus to educate other students about the violence of abortion, create new pro-lifers, and transform our school into a place that supports pregnant and parenting students.

Our club is comprised of members from a variety of backgrounds who all acknowledge the value of life.  Our members put these beliefs into action through volunteer work at State College’s Pregnancy Resource Clinic, Birthright of Pittsburgh (Pregnancy Support Center), Maggie’s Place (Housing and Support for Pregnant Women), sidewalk advocating outside of Pittsburgh’s Planned Parenthood, and all of this in addition to our annual trip to the March for Life in our nation’s capital and various Stand for Life events throughout our great state of Pennsylvania!

On the very day abortion was legalized in Mexico, April 24, 2007, a very intense light appeared on the Tilma, or cloak, of Our Lady of Guadalupe following a mass offered for preborn children.  At the level of her womb, a glowing white light appeared like a halo with the shape and proportion matching that of an embryo.  This miraculous image is now a popular symbol of pro-life causes in the Americas due to the Madonna’s pregnant appearance.

As Children of God, we all have a duty and an obligation to fight for the sanctity of life of the children entrusted to us.

Join us in our mission to fight for the right to life for all!
