Week Holiday:
Even though, we did not have any school but working on aseprite needed to be continued because we had a lot of sprites to do and along with the video. While I am at home, I worked on the warehouse and hospital maps and also some animation of security hazard. For the hospital map, I made it bigger than the rest of the maps because I think Tony will want the focus point inside the hospital. There will be a lot of monsters inside in the hospital as well including the boss (nurse).

Week# 11:
Monday, only Tony and I were the ones who presented our work in- progress to the class. It was nice to know that someone liked Tony’s character animation because I think he did a very good job. After that, I was finishing the second hallway scene and planing on what will I be pixeling for the sewer scene.
Week#12:
This week was a busy week because I could not attend Cromar’s class at all because of the installation occurring in the campus.

Week# 9:
I actually didn’t do a lot in class because wednesday was campus shutdown so a lot of stuff happen last week. I did the bed and I assembled the room together at the end of the week. It was fun designing a pixelated room because I haven’t done anything like this and Tony was afraid that his sprites would be too big when inporting into the room. He really like to think about problem before hand which mean he is very cautious but I was happy that I did the room.
Week# 10:
I have been working on the hallway which i was not sure what mansion reference I should use. I did wanted a grandfather clock in the hallway because I can make a simple animation when the clock is ticking. I was certain to have lights in the hallway as well and was brainstorming what kind of lights should it be. There was some confusions when Tony looked at the hallway and he thought we should have another hallway where the butler and maids can come into play.

Week# 7:
This week I was working on the interiors of the Aoi’s mansion. I was doing toward old mansion design and forgot about the futuristic part of the story. I did a grandfather clock and animated the pendulum moving. I did researched some lighting for a futuristic mansion and designed some lights. It was sorta hard for me to make interiors pixelated especially for the chandelier because of details and shine. I also need to remember the bitting for each interior in order to fix them inside the room and hallways.
Week#8:
Cromar discussed with us about creating a list for us to keep track on what we need to do. I think it is good idea because I have a lot of interior work for the tile map and keeping track will help me organize my job. At first, I wasn’t like Tony who made his list fantasy but of course, I followed him so we can be the same and it will look nice.

Week # 5:
This week I had a bit of time to make the tile set for the presentation and showing how much work I did by doing so. It was very interesting to know the difference between tilemap and tileset because Tony and I were confused with the terms. Even thou, we can not use the tilemap I did in 16 bits, but some of the crops can be used like the tiles I created. It was intense when Tony and I were presenting because I was presenting the thesis and my part of the project.
Week # 6:
This week I was discussing with Tony about how will the mansion will look like and I researched the interior of old mansion as well. I started to created wood tile and knowing what bit I should do in each scene. We were searching up some pixelated games as to define Tony’s point of view. I did some sketches in my sketchbook so I can brainstorm some ideas for the introduction in the video.

Started on week 3, I worked on the title in aseprite and learning how to use the program as well. I watched a tutorial on youtube to understand the basic techniques of the aseprite. There were some misunderstanding between Tony and I because there are techniques he knows which I wouldn’t comprehend at the time. On the other hand, he did taught some method to use and teach me some controls as well. Working on the title, I did an animation of the gleam for it but it took me two class period to finish plus a bit of Cromar’s idea too.

On week 4, I started making a title map which I rushed through the progress because I needed to make slides for our presentation on Monday. During the class time, I was looking at tutorial on how to make title map and learning more methods in aseprite. I was having fun making the tilemap until Tony told me I did the wrong bit. We concluded that the titlemap we will be showing is going to be a demo.

Week #1:
We discusses about our thesis and developed our diagram. We had to do our contract to understand what parts we are responsible for and making a syllabus for when the certain things are due. Knowing that I will designing landscapes and tweens for characters movement, we decided to make a game trailer teaser.
Week #2:
Monday, Cromar came over to discussed about our thesis which we weren’t explain about what was our goal. As we struggled, I looked up some YouTube tutorials for Aesprite and bought the program as well. Tony created a new websites for our project called Nichibotsu which I will be making the title for our website page using the project. Wednesday, we were practicing some techniques because Tony forgot how to use Aesprite and I forgot my stylist. I used my iPad tablet to sketch out the title and the color theme for the letter. We talked about the title will be gif format so there will be some movement to it.
