Nicole,
I loved your introduction paragraph and its polarity to the rest of the blog. It seemed that you were super excited to go the Mayan ruins, however, circumstances changed. It was also funny when you recalled their ridiculous question and answer. They seemed not very helpful but I guess you had the experience of sacrificing blood to the gods.
