Ph.D. Positions
We are constantly looking for highly motivated Ph.D. students to join us. Prospective Ph.D. students are encouraged to contact Dr. Xin Ning first and then apply to the Ph.D. program in Aerospace Engineering at the Penn State University. Please explicitly indicate your interests in working with Dr. Xin Ning in your application. Admitted Ph.D. students in other departments at Penn State are welcome to contact Dr. Xin Ning (xzn12 AT psu.edu) to discuss possible positions. Full financial support is usually provided to Ph.D. students.
M.S. Positions
Prospective M.S. students are encouraged to apply to the M.S. program in Aerospace Engineering. The M.S. in Aerospace Engineering is a thesis-based master’s degree having a significant research component. It requires a minimum of 30 credits and is designed to be completed in two years. Please contact Dr. Xin Ning (xzn12 AT psu.edu) first and then apply to the M.S. program. Please explicitly indicate your interests in working with Dr. Xin Ning in your application. The student with a strong motivation to stay and pursue his/her Ph.D. after the M.S. study is particularly encouraged to apply. Admitted M.S. students in other departments at Penn State are welcome to contact Dr. Xin Ning to discuss possible positions. Financial support (full or partial) may be available for M.S. students.
