niteshnama

Hi there,

I am Nitesh Nama, a PhD candidate at the Acoustofluidics Lab in Engineering Science and Mechanics at Pennsylvania State University. I am also pursuing a concurrent Masters degree in Mathematics, along with a PhD minor in Computational Science. I work at the interface of engineering ( primarily with Prof. Tony Huang) and mathematics ( primarily with Prof. Francesco Costanzo). My main research interests include microacoustofluidics, finite element modeling and fluid-structure interaction. During my PhD, I have worked on various multi-disciplinary projects aimed at understanding the interaction of acoustics and fluidics at microscales, with a view towards developing novel lab-on-a-chip technologies for bio-medical applications. Together with my colleague Po-Hsun Huang, I have also been heavily involved in developing sharp-edge based microfluidic platform for various lab-on-a-chip applications. Feel free to look at my Google Scholar profile from the link below for more information on other research work that I have been involved with.
