My version of an IKEA table was a creative way to finish my semester in engineering design. This was our final project, with the prompt of creating something that would make dorm life easier. I chose to design a coffee table, which would give me more storage space and enable me to bring an espresso machine into my dorm. What made this project special was its combination of passions for me. I was able to combine my love of engineering with my love of espresso, which is a large part of my culture. I greatly appreciate that this project enabled me to explore the depths of my creativity. Above is a render of the final product, which was modeled on CAD software.
