Hello! Welcome to my blog, A Learning Girl, created and crafted by yours truly, Nina Wiggins. Currently, I am a student at Pennsylvania State University and an honorary member of the Schreyer Honors College. With hopes to major in Biobehavioral Health and a possible minor in Health Policy and Administration, my long term goal is to pursue osteopathic medical school and to become a Pediatrician. My passion, my drive, and my mission are to help and heal others.
Within this blog, you will be accompanying me in my learning journey through the course Rhetoric and Civic Life (RCL); hence A Learning Girl. Part of this course is creating this blog to expand and strengthen my knowledge of communication through written and digital modes. Thus, I will be crafting through two lenses of themes; RCL (Rhetoric and Civic Life) threads and PAS (Passion) threads. The first thread, RCL posts, is where I will answer weekly prompts involving civic life in creative and engaging ways. The second thread, PAS posts, involves the continuous theme of my thoughts of a deep passion of mine; kindness.
