The Penn State College of Medicine Neurological Surgery Interest Group is committed to fostering medical student interest in the field of neurological surgery. We work to provide opportunities for medical students to learn more about this exciting field and to engage with the many resources and opportunities within the department.
We organize faculty and resident lectures on neurosurgical topics, help to connect students with research and shadowing opportunities, put together small group clinics to learn about surgical techniques in the sim lab and MDL, and hold peer-to-peer case-based discussions.
