This site has over 75,000 registered dietitians, technicians, and other professionals. It provides nutrition therapy in order to treat chronic illnesses and diseases. The most surprising thing about this material is that it provides expert feedback of nutritional hearings, persuades government, and discusses proposed federal and state laws that deal with nutrition issues. I have never come across a website that is dedicated to federal government policy that affects individuals at a state level.

I think it is very interesting that this site also provides ways in which individuals can maintain a healthy life and take action in a more broader way, through persuading the government. I never knew that some states do not recognize the importance of professional regulations of dietitians when it comes down to education and experience. In these states it is easy to practice nutrition without having a license in this field. This spreads false information to the public. In order to promote healthy living, this site displays free nutritious cooking videos and tips for weight loss and building muscle mass.

This website could help a nutrition educator find evidence based resources and allow them to also apply for the Academy Associate of Nutrition and Dietetics where they can access professional publications and other opportunities. Also nutrition educators can use recent articles that are mentioned on this website to keep up to date with recent health findings and topics. It is extremely important that all health care professionals stay on top of new health subjects because information is always changing and expanding.
