Penn State Hospitality Services is hiring for Part-time positions in the Stewarding and Culinary Departments

The Stewarding Department for Penn State Hospitality Services is seeking organized and motivated individuals dedicated to providing exceptional customer service for our part-time Dishwasher position.

They are responsible for washing and cleaning dishes, pot ware, glassware, silverware, and kitchen equipment. Cleans kitchen areas, removes & sorts trash, compost and recycling, sorts and stores dishes, glassware, pot ware, and silverware. Operates dish machines and trash compactor.

Must be able to work in warm, moist area, lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Assist culinary department in plating up and banquet servers in setting up banquet functions. Maybe cross-trained as cafeteria attendant.

Work hours are various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The Culinary Department is seeking cooks looking to pick up some extra shifts.  You can work as few as one shift a week, or up to 20 hours each week, based on your availability and preferences.

Our full-service property is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and a superb dining experience.  We are looking for individuals who are organized, motivated, and driven to prepare great food.  Responsibilities may include planning, preparing, setting-up and providing service in all areas of food production.  Successful applicants must be able to abide by sanitation/health regulations, complete opening duties, clean & prepare fruits, vegetables, prepare salads, and stocks.
