Interested in a career in public health? Meet alumni of the College of Health and Human Development who are working in the field of public health.

7:00 p.m. – Panel discussion of career paths in public health and the value of networking. Open to all students in the College of Health and Human Development and the College of Nursing.

7:45 p.m. – Networking reception with alumni Register:

Careers in Aging Week Events: April 5-11th!

The College of Health and Human Development and The Center for Healthy Aging Present Careers in Aging Week, April 5-11. See below for 3 important events, snacks provided at all events.

Event #1:

Industry Leaders Present: Future Trends in Senior Living/Senior Care Career Opportunities, Monday, April 6th, 6-8 PM, Ruth Pike Auditorium, 022 Biobehavioral Health Building

This event will feature Valerie Palmieri, COO of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life (Philadelphia), Professor Kimberly Van Haitsma, Penn State School of Nursing, Matthew Mayo, Regional Director of Operations and Luke Pile, Director Market Development both with the Eastern Division of HCR Manor Care.  Joining them will be two of our recent HPA grads who are currently Administrators in Training at the Abramson Center.

“Bright Future, Many Possibilities: A career with aging”Thursday, April 9, 11:30 – 12:30 PM Bennett Pierce Living Center, 110 Henderson Building This event features Clay Jacobs, Vice President of Programs and Services Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association Learn about the growing population and the demand for aging professionals

Aging Career Discussion Panel,  Thursday, April 9, 4:15-6:15 PM Ruth Pike Auditorium, 022 Biobehavioral Health Building. Learn about jobs and careers in the aging field. Meet the professionals! There is a Registered Dietitian on the panel!
