Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA2) $14,000 per year ($14/hour, 20 hours per week), 2 years appointment, including partial tuition waiver
Teaching Assistant responsibilities: helping with class assignments, lecture development, and other activities related to teaching and management of accreditation of our internship program.
Graduate Research Assistant $21,000 per year ($21/hour, 20 hours per week), 2 year appointment, including full tuition waiver for two years plus health insurance.
Research Assistant responsibilities: This is a great opportunity for a student (preferably PhD student) with interest in research and publication. Superior English and writing skills are essential for this position.
Our department offers BS degree programs in several fields, including a national Institute of Food Technologists-approved food science program, food processing, food safety, culinology (in conjunction with MS University for Women), and a nationally Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics-accredited dietetic/nutrition program. We offer MS degrees in food science, nutrition and health promotion, and a Ph.D. degree in food science and nutrition.
