Second Degree Nursing Program Information Session – September 26, 2017

 

The Second Degree program is an intensive sixteen-month program for individuals who already have a bachelor’s degree in another field.

Research Assistants needed in Dr. Gernand’s Lab

Dr. Alison Gernand and her research team, are beginning a new study in the coming months and are interested in recruiting undergraduate students to assist in data collection and lab work. The study will examine plasma volume and micronutrients across the menstrual cycle.

The students must be able to commit 4-8 hours per week for at least 1 year. Other research experience is helpful and preferred, but it is not required.
Priority will be given to sophomore and junior Nutritional Sciences students interested in a longer time commitment.

Full-time WIC Nutritionist position in Dauphin County, PA

Attention recent and Fall Semester Nutrition graduates:
The Hamilton Health Center WIC Program is currently seeking a full-time Nutritionist in Dauphin County, PA. They are looking for a candidate that can give at least a 1 year commitment due to the job requiring a lengthy training period. To qualify applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition or dietetics. The base pay is $16 an hour and includes a competitive benefits package. Student Nutrition Association Meeting

The first Student Nutrition Association meeting will be held this Tuesday (9/5/17)  at 7 p.m. in 10 Henderson, so come on out! The Center for Woman’s Services will be coming to speak about their services on campus, as well as body image. This is the first point opportunity, so if you stay, you will earn a point!
