    • Late drop deadline:  November 15, 11:59 pm (Eastern)
    • Thanksgiving Holiday (no classes):  November 24 to November 30
    • Withdrawal deadline:  December 13, 5:00 pm (Eastern)
    • Classes end:  December 13
    • Final Exams:  December 16-20
    • Commencement:  December 21

  • Bioethics & Medical Humanities minor information night – November 11, 5 pm, 133 Sparks.  This is an opportunity to learn about PSU’s Intercollege Bioethics Program, the BMH minor, and the Undergraduate Bioethics Student organization.  There will be door prizes – bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Lion’s Pantry.  For more information, contact bioethicsprogram@psu.edu
  • Spring 2020 course – SC 201 (Medical Professions – 1 credit).  Prerequisite: Third-semester standing or higher. If you are interested in medical, dental, or PA school, this course will help you assess your progress toward becoming a strong candidate. Guest speakers will also give overviews of current issues in healthcare such as medical ethics, disparities in access and outcomes in healthcare, the role of public health, and the importance of teamwork among healthcare providers.
