Join us for one of our upcoming Virtual Open Houses to learn more about Penn State’s Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Nutritional Sciences graduate program offered online through the Department of Nutritional Sciences & Penn State World Campus.

There will be two Virtual Open Houses with details as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 3, 2019, 12:00-1:00pm ET
  • Tuesday, January 21, 2019, 12:00-1:00pm ET

There are two pathways within the MPS graduate degree program:

  • MPS Degree Only (30 credits online)–completely online and can be completed in 24 months. Great for RDN’s, other health professionals, or recent graduates of sciences or health professions who are seeking cross-training in nutrition. Applications accepted every semester (fall, spring and summer)
  • MPS Degree with Experiential Track (ACEND accredited RDN Pathway–39 credits in total)–this option integrates the core 30 credit MPS curriculum with 3 semesters of in-residence supervised experiential learning in food service management, clinical nutrition and community nutrition at one of our two geographic locations: University Park, PA or Harrisburg/Hershey, PA. Upon graduation, students receive a verification statement and are eligible to sit for the RDN exam. 24 month long program. Application deadline Feb. 15th, 2020.

The virtual open houses will cover the program overview along with details of both pathways noted above. The virtual open houses are live streamed events, but will also be recorded for later viewing. You must register to attend to obtain the recording after the event. Please register here.
