Feb 15th Deadline! Apply to the MPS in Nutritional Sciences Experiential Track (RDN pathway)

Finalizing applications for post-graduate DI/Grad School programs? Consider applying to the Dept. of Nutritional Sciences  Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program 

The MPS program offers an Experiential Track which is a uniquely designed pathway for students seeking the RDN credential. We are looking to add 15 new students to our 2nd class of the Experiential Track (starting Summer 2020)!

Program Details:

  • MPS in Nutritional Sciences Graduate Degree with Experiential Track (RDN Pathway) 
  • ACEND-accredited Future Graduate Program 
  • Core MPS curriculum with emphasis in leadership and advanced practice with capstone project 
  • 39 credits in total (33 credits online + 6 credits in residence)
  • Online didactic coursework integrated with three semesters of in-residence supervised experiential learning (SEL) in food service management, clinical nutrition and community nutrition  
  • Two geographic locations for SEL: University Park, PA or Harrisburg/Hershey, PA. (indicate preference upon application)
  • 24-month long program; RDN exam eligible upon graduation 
  • Verification Statement not required to apply  
  • NO GRE’s required 

Application Timeline:

  • Application deadline is February 15th, 2020 to Penn State Graduate School (program is not using DICAS or D&D)
  • Interview offers will be extended by February 28th, 2020
  • Decision letters will be provided by March 23rd, 2020
  • Applicants will have until 9:00am ET on April 7th, 2020 to accept/decline the offer
