Last year the Nutritional Sciences students who attended the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics annual Food, Nutrition, Conference and Exposition (FNCE) had a great time and learned a lot about the new trends in Nutrition.
Dr. Coleman-Kelly is offering the course again in Fall 2020 to take 24 students to Indianapolis, IN October 17-20, 2020. Students can use NUTR 497 toward their 400-level support course credits.
The class will be held Monday nights from 5 pm to 8 pm. The course prepares students for the 5-day conference. The students in last year’s class said it was a critical part of helping them navigate the largest Food and Nutrition Conference in the world. To register in Lionpath, in the “Location” box, select Conferences and Institutes, then Nutrition and you’ll see the course listed.
Students will be responsible for their own travel to and from Indianapolis. Dr. Coleman-Kelly will hold an information session after Spring break to share more about the conference, the course, and travel options to and from FNCE. Stay tuned for more information!
