Career Services Newsletter

Career Services recently published a very useful newsletter highlighting opportunities and career fairs this Spring.  Regardless of your academic level, you will find something useful related to career development.  Announcements for their upcoming workshops and career fairs are listed.  They discuss the value of social media and how to best represent yourself professionally.  They provide tips for communicating electronically.  They provide guidance on resume preparation.  Seniors who are getting ready for interviews may be interested to learn they provide a quiet space for phone and Skype interviews in their interview center.  Take a few minutes to read through the information. Penn State’s Career Services is often an underutilized resource.  Be proactive now and learn what they can do to assist you.  Student drop-ins are encouraged for quick questions and appointments can be made for longer counseling sessions.  The Bank of America Career Services Center is located behind the Eisenhower parking garage next to the student health center.  Career Planning News Spring 2014
