Global Health Minor Information sessions will be held in The Bennett Pierce Living Center, 110 Henderson Building.

Minor Goals and Activities
• Develop the capacity to think, talk, and write critically about global health issues and challenges.
• Complete a five-week supervised fieldwork experience in South Africa, Tanzania, or Ecuador.
• Prepare for occupations that demand global thinking, understanding and experience.
Global Health is a competitive minor, open to any Penn State student who is enrolled at the University Park campus and who has declared a major field of study.
After attending an information session, students who are interested in applying for the Global Health Minor should schedule an advising appointment to meet with the Global Health Minor Program Director, Dr. Dana Naughton. Thirty-minute advising sessions may be arranged by contacting the staff of the Department of Biobehavioral Health at 814-863-7256. Application
materials will be provided to students at the time of meeting.
