Great question! We appreciate your interest in our water quality monitor that will aim to track the following characteristics: pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, temperature, turbidity, hardness, alkalinity, and chloride levels. Here is a timeline for the research and development of our product!
Step 1: Research & development on the physical product. We will be bringing on water engineers & scientists to understand how a product like this can be made and how we can do it as efficiently as possible. Here at Oceanus, we believe in bringing you a superior product and in order to do that we must know everything about the science behind water. We want our product to measure our desire characteristics & for the measurements to be accurate.
Step 2: Modeling & Production of the physical product. After we understand exactly where we want to go with the Trident, we will begin to model the product. We will work closely with an engineering team to bring the model to life! At that point we would like to test the model, that will include our staff and a few interested individuals will be given a FREE Trident to test in Beta.
Step 3: Once our product has checked everything off of our list, we will begin producing the product on a larger scale with our engineers & scientists. At this point the product will go live on our website available to all individuals in the United States. Here we would like to get tons of feedback from customers and go on a tour across the United States , allowing people to try our product in assessing the water that they drink! We believe this is an important step towards developing what we are the most excited about… which is our innovative app.
Step 4: Developing the Oceanus App. After we can ensure that our physical product is delivering accurate measurements of our desired characteristics, we would then start to bridge the physical product with the app. We will bring in data scientists and engineers to figure our how we can take the data recorded from our physical product and put it into an app. We will also be work with developers to understand how we can take complex data and deliver in to our customers in a unique and simplistic way. This will include complex algorithms that rate water quality, graphic forms of delivery, and stimulating content that makes water quality fun!
Once again, we appreciate your ongoing support and we hope to get these steps done in 2-4 years. If you’d like to join the Newsletter for updates, check our Menu our on the right side of the screen! If you’d like to join the list of individuals interested in Beta testing at Oceanus, contact us in our menu at the number provided via SMS!
