We have been planning a meeting with Dean Kump and Assoc. Dean Karpyn in our college. We have had one such meeting last Spring. Since then, PoEMS has become a formal organization. The intent of this meeting is to discuss how we are doing as a group and areas for improvement. Other than that, this is an excellent opportunity for you to bring any questions you may have for the leadership.

• Date and time: Oct 28^th from 10.30-11.30am
• Location: 509 Barron Innovation Hub (the building is located on S. Burrows St.)

You are all invited to join us for a fun social event at Way Fruit Farm on Saturday 22^nd October, from 10.30am. We will be going apple picking, followed by brunch at the Farm Cafe. They also sell pumpkins (you can pick your own or purchase pre-picked), and other farm and local produce (including delicious apple cider donuts)! They will be offering wagon rides and will also have a festive caramel apple bar set-up.

• Location: Way Fruit Farm
• Date: Saturday 22nd Oct.
• Time: Meet out the front of the main farm/store building at 10.30am. We will be heading over to the apple trees as a group at 10.45am, so if you arrive after then, you can find us across the road among the trees. You will need to pre-pay in the store first, then take your ticket over the road to the stand where you will get your bag/bucket for picking.
• Cost: please plan to pay for your own brunch & however many pick-your-own apples / pumpkins you’d like! (Pre-pay in the store – cash preferred).
• Clothing: make sure to dress warmly and wear shoes that can get dirty, in case the fields are muddy.
