Established as a journal at Penn State Harrisburg in the 1980s, The Folklore Historian has fostered key discussions on the history of folklore studies, as well as on the intersections of folklore and history. After being published at several other institutions for many years, The Folklore Historian will again be published by Penn State, but this time as the open-access journal TFH: The Journal of History and Folklore! Check out its newly released 36th volume, featuring the last publication by the late eminent folklorist Dan Ben-Amos.
