Part of the mission of the PAPH Lab includes outreach to the community and advocacy for policies and environments that promote physical activity at a population level.

An energetic and motivated group of 7 undergraduate Kinesiology students participated in ACSM’s Capitol Hill Day/SFIA National Health Through Fitness Day in 2019.

2015 Congress

Dr. Bopp served on an expert panel for the Faith-based sector for the National Physical Activity plan,  which is a  comprehensive set of policies, programs, and initiatives that aim to increase physical activity in all segments of the American population.

Active Lions team members have participated in many events around campus and the State College community, including Winter Bike to Work Day, Fall Bike to Work Day, and the Penn State Kinesiology department’s Exercise is Medicine on Campus initiative.
