As a junior at Penn State, John is an undergraduate research assistant at the Listening Lab, where he is pursuing a B.S. in Computational Data Science with a Mathematics Minor. His academic and project work reflects a commitment to innovative problem-solving and a passion for merging technology with natural sciences. Beyond John’s academic engagements, he has a keen interest in sports, music, and keeping pace with the latest technological advancements.

Annika Throne
Annika Throne is a recent graduate from Estes Park, Colorado. She majored in International Studies focused in Environment, with minors in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management, and Sustainability Leadership. Being involved with research throughout her undergrad, Annika was excited to remain with Penn State and continue working as she prepared to go on to graduate school to study sustainable development.

Bianca Walder is from Cedar Knolls, New Jersey and is a fourth year student studying Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management and Political Science. She plans on pursuing a career that focuses on protecting natural resources, inspiring the public to take conservation action, and learning more about our natural world.
