Parker Kirby is a senior majoring in Data Science at Penn State. On campus, he is involved in the student organization Kesem Central PA and he currently serves as one of two directors. Throughout his time at Penn State, he has completed several machine learning and data visualization projects using Python, RStudio, Tableau, and Microsoft SQL. He is very passionate about bringing authenticity and inclusivity into the workplace to create robust teams.

After Graduation Parker is moving to Seattle where he will be working for Deloitte as a  finance and risk analyst for the technology department. In this position, he hopes to gain more experience in broader tech-related fields, while continuing to hone his skills as a data scientist. His ultimate goal is to become a senior data scientist at a top tech firm. He is extremely excited to be moving to Washington as the pacific north-west has always been a dream location for him ever since he was a little kid.

Parker was born in Marietta Georgia but grew up in New Hamshire where he currently lives. When he’s not at Penn State he enjoys spending time with family and skiing all the great mountains that New England has to offer. At school, he enjoys spending time with friends and dedicates most of his time to volunteering for Kesem Central PA which provides year-round support for children affected by their parent’s cancer.
