Recommendation Report Project

I loved working alongside my colleagues in the classroom to collectively work on an issue of our choice. I value listening and learning from others. Learning other’s perspective and to work alongside them with a common goal in mind is something I will always enjoy, and will seek to do as well in my career someday.

In my first course in Business Writing, one of our projects was the create a Recommendation Report. Our assignment consisted of coming up with an issue on campus, collecting data in an online survey of questions regarding or supporting the issue, and presenting the data and our issue in a report format.

I had a lot of fun doing this report style writing. I became comfortable with finding an issue and actively working on finding real data and displaying our findings. Considering my priority writing style is creative or analytical, it was a refreshing project to be apart of.
