Wow, someone that came to the Roses pretty much at the same time and way that I did. Although mine was through watching the Made of Stone Documentary. I watch pretty much every music related film I can find, so I decided to watch this film about a band that I was only vaguely aware of. I quickly fell asleep and then became wide awake when I heard Mani’s opening bass line to Fools Gold at the end of the film. I then quickly realized that the drummer, whoever he was, was a freaking monster. Most drummers look like they are trying to end a week long bout of constipation,but not this dude. So loose and grooving.
