- Beyoncé faked her pregnancy
- In 2011 when Beyoncé announced she was pregnant, immediately there were conspiracy theories surrounding her pregnancy. Many people believed she was faking her pregnancy and actually had a surrogate. The reason this is believed is because in an interview she bends over and her stomach appears to fold. The video can be seen here.
- Courtney Love killed Kurt Cobain
- Kurt Cobain’s death was officially ruled a suicide but that doesn’t stop conspiracy theorists from thinking differently. Courtney Love hired private investigator Tom Grant, who to investigate the death further. Grant, later claimed that Courtney hand-wrote part of the suicide letter.
- Tupac is alive
- Many people believe that Tupac is still alive and there have been reports after 1996 (when he died) of people seeing him. A reason why people believe he is still alive is due to the fact that the autopsy report lists his incorrect height and weight.
- Someone murdered Marilyn Monroe
- Like Kurt Cobain, Marilyn Monroe’s death was ruled a suicide however it is believed she was murdered. It is believed that Monroe was murdered by either the CIA or Robert F. Kennedy. The theory that the CIA murdered her is to cover up the affair she had with JFK and any information she had about UFO’s. It is also thought that RFK assassinated her again, because of the affair with JFK, he wanted to make sure the affair was not leaked.
- The government is tracking us with Pokemon Go
- Pokemon go was a very popular mobile game during the summer of 2016. I personally never liked the game but it seemed as though all my friends were obsessed with it. When it came out that the developer of the game has access to everyones google accounts used when registering for the app, conspiracy theories started up. The theory was the the games GPS tracking was used to track the players whereabouts so it could be stored and given to the government.
- The Illuminati is real
- The most famous conspiracy theory is that the illuminati is real. It is believed that the most famous celebrities such as Beyoncé, JayZ, and the Kardashian’s are in the illuminati and the things they put out have hidden meanings and symbols.
- Paul McCartney is actually dead
- The theory goes that Paul McCartney died in a car crash in 1966 and the Beatles hid it by hiring a look alike. Conspiracy theorists found “proof” that he died in photos, lyrics, and supposedly the cover of Abbey Road is a funeral procession for Paul.
- The Titanic didn’t sink the Olympian did
- This is probably one of my favorite conspiracy theories because it actually makes sense and it isn’t too crazy. The Olympian was a ship that crashed, was found to be at fault, and as a result money loss for the company. In order to make up for the money lost the company that owned the ship, White Star Line, fixed the Olympian and sent it out as the Titanic. The crash was planned as a way to get insurance money since the Titanic was a brand new ship that crashed. Lastly, JP Morgan the owner of White Star Line was supposed to be on the Titanic for its first voyage but conveniently canceled those plans.
- JK Rowing did’t write Harry Potter
- Jk Rowling was a struggling single mother who came up with the idea of Harry Potter on a train and wrote the first novel in a coffee shop. According to the conspiracy theory none of this is true. It is believed that someone else wrote the Harry Potter series and Rowling was hired as an actress to play the role of the author.
- Kim and Ray J’s sex tape was sold by Kris Jenner
- To quote twitter “the devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder” is true. Kris Jenner is the ultimate momager and supposedly she sold the Kim and Ray J sex tape in order to get her family into the spotlight and it wasn’t actually leaked.

Denver International Airport
The Denver International Airport opened to the public February 28 1995, after numerous delays and almost $2 billion over budget. This airport holds so many conspiracy theories due to the demonic horse statue, apocalyptic murals, the involvement with freemasons, and many other creepy things. Many believe the Denver International Airport to be Hell. Here are some of the creepy, weird, and unsettling things within the airport that contribute to the conspiracy theories surrounding the Denver International Airport.
Mustang Statue
When driving into the DIA there is a giant blue mustang statue with glowing orange/ red eyes. This statue is officially titles “Mustang” but given the nickname “Blucifer” because it is thought to be cursed. The conspiracy goes that the Mustang represents the fourth horseman of the apocalypse representing death. The horse statue while being built fell on its sculptor and killed him by severing one of its arteries.

Dedication Stone
Once inside of the DIA there is a plaque stating who the airport id dedicated too. On the plaque is the Freemason logo. The Freemasons is a secret fraternal society that is allegedly the largest in the world. The Freemasons had many powerful members in the society which made people suspicious of their intentions. The stone says “New world airport commission contributor” the New World Order is thought to be a small group of powerful people slowly working to an all powerful global government.
Underground
As mentioned earlier the DIA opened after many delays and well over budget. The theories to the cause of these delays was that an underground facility meant to act as a bunker for the global elite was being built, there is an underground network of New world oder command bunkers, and the third theory is that there is a FEMA concentration camp for future use. Construction works have stated that there is a complex network of tunnels under the airport.
Death
All throughout the DIA there are little bits of artwork here and there that symbolize death. One of the terminals at the airport has a giant statue of Anubis the ancient Egyptian God of death. Overlooking baggage claim there are two Gargoyle statues sitting in a suitcase. Gargoyles symbolize reptilian aliens, which are evil shape shifting creatures. There are 4 creepy and unsettling murals in the airport. One that is particularly unsettling is the mural is “The Children of the World Dream of Peace” by Leo Tanguma. The mural depicts a solider wearing a gas mask, stabbing a dove which is the bird of peace. On the side of the mural are women holding dead babies crying and in the bottom right corner of the mural is a letter written by a little girl in Auschwitz And again, going back to the Mustang that literally killed its sculptor. There are many pieces of art within the Denver International Airport that symbolize death and are linked to death leading to the conspiracy theory that this airport is Hell.

Is Australia Real?
The title of this blog might seem silly. Is Australia real? Of course Australia is real, my cousin lived there for about a month until she realized she hated it there but thats besides the point. Australia is very much real, I don’t believe in the crazy conspiracy theory on why it isn’t but the theory is very funny and when I told my friends here at Penn State about it we had a field day.
One night at dinner I asked the stupid question of “Is Australia real?” My one friend answered me as if he was talking to a child and said “Jesssssssss c’mon, yes Australia is real.” While my other friend sternly answered “no”. This is where the field day happened. After answering no he doesn’t believe in Australia, we began to make our own conspiracy theory. We were going on about how Australia is actually Area 51 and the people that live there are lizard people. Obviously this isn’t true and this isn’t the conspiracy theory either it’s just something me and my friends came up with one night at dinner.
The real conspiracy theory was made up by Shelley Floryd via face book post. Here is an excerpt from the post:
“Australia is not real. It’s a hoax, made for us to believe that Britain moved over their criminals to someplace. In reality, all these criminals were loaded off the ships into the waters, drowning before they could see land ever again. It’s a coverup for one of the greatest mass murders in history, made by one of the most prominent empires. Australia does not exist. All things you call “proof” are actually well fabricated lies and documents made by the leading governments of the world. Your Australian friends? They’re all actors and computer generated personas, part of the plot to trick the world. If you think you’ve ever been to Australia, you’re terribly wrong. The plane pilots are all in on this, and have in all actuality only flown you to islands close nearby – or in some cases, parts of South America, where they have cleared space and hired actors to act out as real Australians.”
This Facebook post was obviously made up for laughs and Shelley Floryd didn’t honestly believe Australia wasn’t real and that it was a cover up for mass murders. This post blew up, many Australian’s were angry with the post trying to defend the fact that their home is real and other people somehow believed Shelley Floryd.
In my last post I stated that some conspiracy theories have some truth to it and now I will say do not believe everything you see on the internet. Conspiracy theories are fun and meant to get you to think more, be curious.
Amelia Earhart
People usually write off conspiracy theories as crazy and immediately shutting it down saying that there is no way it is true. However, on some occasions it comes out that there was some truth to the conspiracy theory.
How to conspiracy theories start? Conspiracy theories start when there is some grey area and something that does not make sense. When a conspiracy theorist find something that does not make sense, they will dig deeper into the story and pick it apart finding more parts that do not make sense. After the theorist does this they must find an alternative explanation to the event and explain it in a way to get people to believe them.
One event that doesn’t make sense is Amelia Earhart’s flight disappearing. Amelia Earhart was an American aviator who set multiple flying records and was involved in the advancement of Women of Aviation. Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and also the first person to fly solo from Hawaii to the U.S. mainland. On July 2, 1937 near the end of Amelia Earhart’s flight around the world she vanished somewhere over the Pacific Ocean and was declared lost at sea. Most experts believe that Earhart’s plane ran out of fuel and crashed into the Ocean; Earhart, her navigator Fred Noonan, and the plane all were never found. This fueled the fire for many conspiracies to form.
Given the fact that Earhart and Noonan were declared lost at sea and the plane was never found there are multiple conspiracy theories. The first is that the plane ran out of gas and crashed landed into the sea. However, high tech sonar and deep sea robots have failed to find the crash site. The second is that Earhart and Noonan were captured and held prisoner by the Japanese. The third theory is that they were spies for Roosevelt and when they returned to The United States took on fake names. There is new evidence discovered strengthening to the second theory of Earhart and Noonan being held captive by the Japanese.

Retired Federal Agent Les Kinney searched the National Archives records for any evidence that may have been overlooked. He uncovered thousands of documents, one of them being the picture above. There is no confirmation that the man and woman standing at the dock are Earhart and Noonan but Kinney is confident that it is them. Digital forensic analyst, Doug Carner, examined the photo and concluded that it was real and had not been manipulated. Kent Gibson, a specialist in facial recognition, said it was “very likely” the two people in that picture are Earhart and Noonan. Another document was found that suggested The United States government knew was being held prisoner by the Japanese but covered it up.

There are many conspiracy theories on what happened to Amelia Earhart but this evidence strongly favors the theory that the Japanese took her as prisoner.
The Mandela Effect
Conspiracy theories have always interested me, I think they are so fun and entertaining. All of my friends (with the exception of one) think I’m crazy because of my extensive knowledge on conspiracy theories, but I think it’s crazy that there are so many unanswered questions and so much grey area in events that allow for conspiracy theories to form. Not everything is as it seems and we should question things. While most people think that conspiracy theories are just that conspiracies, some theories do turn out to be true.
Some conspiracies are just flat out crazy and don’t make sense at all such as the theory that Ted Cruz was the Zodiac Killer. However, I still find these fun to watch or read about for the entertainment aspect. I am not an insane conspiracy theorist that thinks lizard people run the government, that the illuminati controls everything, or that the earth is flat but there are some I do believe in. The Mandela Effect is a conspiracy theory I greatly believe in.
The Mandela Effect is an unexplained occurrence of people having vivid memories of things that have never happened. This phenomenon got its name from Nelson Mandela. Many people have unexplained memories of Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 80’s and they even claim to remember seeing his funeral on TV. However, Nelson Mandela did not die in prison, he died in 2013 and many people were shocked to learn this. The theory goes that the reason a majority of people believe one thing to be true when it is not, is due to a parallel universe or time travel that has altered our present.
One of the most popular Mandela effect is the quote from Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back. Everyone remembers the quote as “Luke, I am your father.” However, the actual quote is “No, I am your father.” How is it possible that there’s merchandise with the wrong quote on it and how can large amounts of people believe it you be “Luke, I am your father?” Even one of my best friends, who is the biggest Star Wars fan, was shocked and refused to believe he remembered the quote wrong until he went back and watched the clip from Empire Strikes Back. Two other poplar Mandela Effects is that it is believed Curious George the monkey has a tail and Mr.Moneybags the Monopoly man people believe him to have a monocle. These two beliefs are false; Curious George doesn’t have a tail and Mr.Moneybags does not have a monocle.
I personally believe in the Mandela Effect and the possibility of a parallel universe or time travel.; too many people believe something to be true when it’s not. My friends on the other hand disagree with me. They believe that it’s just human error and our mind assumes that Curious George has a tail because we associate monkeys with having a tail. Whether or not you believe in this theory, look into the Mandela Effect you might find out that something you remembered one way turns out to be completely false.
