Today starts the day that we will begin our journey through Asia and all the amazing things it has to offer. We will begin our journey in the Phi Phi Islands, they are located not too far off the coast of Southern Thailand. The only way to get to the islands from the main land is by boat, so we will take a ferry to the islands, and stay at the famous Phi Phi Beach Resort.

We will stay in these amazing villas made of wood, with amazing views of the ocean, perfect to wake up to in the morning. We will spend a day there just relaxing on the beautiful beaches with the clear blue water, enjoying ourselves because after all, we will be on vacation. This will be the perfect way to get adjusted to the time-zone change and just really relax before we will get into the craziness of traveling through a foreign country!
After we have relaxed or a little bit, we will go back to our room and prepare ourselves for a lovely dinner and night just enjoying the Phi Phi Island sunset and resort attractions! First off is dinner, of course, and we will be served some traditional Thai cuisine, some of which includes spicy shrimp soup, and Thai styled fried noodles. With full stomachs we will head to sit on the beach and take in all the beautiful surroundings of the mountains and ocean.

After some more relaxation, we will head to the resort’s main event of the night: the beach fire show! Every night until 1:30 am, the resort holds a fire show for guest right out on the beach. They even have their own DJ to keep it exciting. The fire show will be extremely impressive but still a little scary to watch because you never know what could happen! This show will be the perfect way to end our first night in the Islands.
For our second day on the island, we will decide do go on a scuba diving tour. The resort will offer a couple of different types of tours to embark on, but we will choose the tour that goes to Monkey Beach and Shark Point for a little adventure. This trip will involve going to some of Phi Phi Island’s most incredible tourist attractions like: Viking Cave, where you can see ancient paintings in a cave, and Maya Bay, the perfect beach area to go snorkeling and see a variety of different fish in the ocean. We will arrive on Monkey Beach and see the monkeys right away as they will come and try to steal away our belongs, and any type of food we will be carrying in our backpacks. The monkeys will be very cute, but our tour guide will warn us that these monkeys do in fact have a wild side, and can become quite aggressive. So we will end up spending more time exploring the island!

Our last destination on this tour will be to Shark Point, full of the Black Tip Reef Shark, and they are perfect for snorkeling around because they are very friendly, and are not aggressive. This spot is renowned for snorkeling because the water is so clear, and the sharks are always out and about. It will be a long day of snorkeling, and sometimes it will be TOO MUCH time underwater, so we will boat back to the resort, and go to our room to rest up from our long day.
To end our final night in the Phi Phi Islands we will rent out a table to eat our dinner on the beach. It will be the perfect relaxing ending to the long day, as we will just spend time enjoying our own company and the beautiful sunset.
