Exploring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Careers
Due to the ongoing public health crisis, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Pathways to Your Future: Exploring STEAM Careers event scheduled on May 15, 2020. Carly Wood, the Pathways coordinator, is working with the planning team on strategies to safely connect with participants and educators. She will reach out to school contacts when more information is available.
Pathways to Your Future: Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) Careers is a career awareness program aimed at seventh grade girls, but all seventh grade students are eligible to participate. This free program introduces students to professionals from academia, medicine, government agencies, business, and industry for a day of workshops and discussion. It also provides teachers with information to guide students toward career opportunities in STEAM fields.
