Pedley Research Group Statement
Every scientist has certain moments that help shape their identity, inquisitive nature, and approach to solving problems. In the Pedley Research Group, we welcome motivated researchers from diverse backgrounds and cultivate a sense of belonging. By creating an engaging and inclusive research environment that embraces those differences and treats everyone equitably, we are able to grow as scientists and members of society by listening to and learning of new perspectives that will allow us to overcome current challenges as a team.
Ongoing DEI Activities
We actively promote many DEI initiatives across the Penn State and greater communities. Below is a list of active activities the research group participates in to promote DEI in the STEM fields.
