Social media projects may use any number of platforms to create an argument. Because of the interactive nature of most social media platforms, audience awareness is particularly important to a successful argument. Audiences should be invited to comment on and respond to content posted. Content creators may engage in dialogue, adapt their original position, or rethink their approach to an issue based on this feedback. Most social media platforms allow content creators to incorporate textual, video, audio, and visual elements. Common platforms include (but are certainly not limited to) the following: Storify, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Google Maps, etc.
