Membership

In order to be considered an active member of Penn State’s Chapter of PRSSA, you must pay PRSSA National Dues and attend meetings each month. Membership requires participating in meetings, events, and workshops and writing blog posts. Attendance will be taken during all meetings and events.

Benefits of Active Membership:

  • Apply for leadership positions, which shows your dedication and enthusiasm to future employers.
  • Participate in National Conference, National Assembly, and Regional events with Penn State PRSSA support.
  • Access to exclusive scholarships and an exclusive network of national and international jobs and internships.
  • Receive the latest industry news and trends supplied through newsletters, e-mails, blogs, and more.

Our Active Members List will be updated on the first of every month so recruiters and potential employers can verify your involvement with PRSSA.

*If you are a recruiter or employer who has an inquiry about a student’s membership activity in PRSSA, please contact the Director of Membership, Alec Burns (ahb5272@psu.edu).*
